About Us
Out of the Woods Winery is a MacLaughlin Family collaboration. We carry a selection of wine, cider and mead from wineries in Wisconsin and all over the world. If you are a fan of the ol’ HookStone red wines, we bottled the last of the Panfish Port-style Wine; once it’s gone it’s gone! We’ve made a selection of whites, fruit wine, meads and ciders, all in bottles and available to taste and purchase. What’s New
We closed the kitchen for the summer but are open to folks bringing food into the shop to enjoy with some wine. On the Mead front, we just bottled our Peach mead, which has been laid up in stainless for two years. We also recently bottled a cherry mead that we aged for nine months in an Irish whiskey barrel. On the cider front, we’ve got sour cherry and honey, brandy barrel aged apple and a blood orange vanilla on tap. Look for a new Musky Merlot and Spring Lake Sauvignon Blanc in the fall! Our spring hours will be Wednesday through Saturday. Wednesday and Thursday noon to 5pm. Fridays and Saturdays, noon to 7pm. Stop by for a bottle to go or a glass of wine, conversation and good company. We’d love to see you.
Patricia MacLaughlin Gallery
Out of the Woods Winery, in partnership with Art Beat of Hayward, is proud to house a gallery created in honor of our loving mother and gifted painter, Patricia MacLaughlin. The gallery will feature four exhibits per year.
We are currently featuring an exhibit by local artist, Deanna Persson, titled “Feelings.” A limited selection of the works can be seen on our digital Gallery Page. Join us for the opening on May 16, 4 pm to 7 pm to enjoy a glass of wine, cider, mead or beer and experience the whole show in person.
